Where are you located?

Although the studio is in the west suburbs of Chicago (charming Geneva, IL to be exact) we do travel all over Chicago land for photoshoots. Frequent trips to Houston, TX allow us to photograph our current clients and also welcome new ones!

How far in advance should we book?

We are available for portrait sessions 7 days a week. A scheduled appointment is required. Evening and weekend sessions fill up fast during peak season so advance planning is recommended. To book a session use the inquiry form or call us during normal business hours (Mon-Fri) at 630-234-0200.

Do we need to place a deposit?

A $50 deposit is due when any portrait session is booked. A 35% deposit for multi-hour events such as weddings or corporate photography. All deposits will be credited to your portrait order. While the deposit is non-refundable it may be applied to a future session if a reschedule is necessary. With advance notice, we will be happy to reschedule an appointment if needed, however, no showing for a scheduled portrait session will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept checks, cash, and major credit cards. Venmo, Square's Cash App, and Zelle debit transactions are also accepted.

What's included in the consultation?

Consultations are optional but recommend for most bookings. We do a planning consultation for every session and event so that we can get familiar your personal style and expectations. All these things will help us plan and create a session that is customized just for you. We also provide styling information for portrait-perfect clothing, sample outfit galleries, color guides for skin tones, hair and makeup tips, and other helpful information to prepare you for portrait day. This is usually done over the phone or via webcam during a 5–10+ minute conversation.

How long are the sessions?

Senior portrait sessions are 90 minutes long to accommodate multi-outfits changes and locations. Family sessions are usually an hour long. Professional headshots can take as little as 10 minutes but most run around 30 minutes. All sessions can be adjusted for more shooting time with advance notice and photography fee.

When will I receive my order?

For most sessions we will post selected proofs online to a password-protected gallery within 1 week. You’ll have a 2 week period to place an order online before the proof gallery expires. Once an order is received and paid in full we begin working our Photoshop magic on your ordered portraits. You can expect to have your order completed within 2 weeks of payment (wedding albums & other large projects may take longer). Faster turnaround is available with advance notice when a session is booked.
